Ruby’s Story

In March 2018, during my first cruise, I received unexpected news: my employer of 23 years was closing all U.S. stores, and I had 60 days before my position ended. Rather than viewing this as a setback, I saw an opportunity to pursue my long-standing interest in personal finance. This pivotal moment led me to a career dedicated to helping families achieve financial independence.

I’ve always been passionate about managing money. It’s surprising how integral money is to our daily lives, yet many lack formal education on handling it wisely. Clients often express surprise at the insights I provide, saying, “I didn’t know that!” Educating individuals on maximizing their hard-earned dollars and investing for the future is incredibly rewarding.

What sets my practice apart is inclusivity. While some financial institutions require a minimum investment of $250,000, I work with everyone—from those investing $25 a month to individuals managing substantial 401(k) rollovers. I offer comprehensive, complimentary financial reviews tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.

I take pride in integrating all aspects of a person’s financial life—income, debt, mortgage, investments, and insurance—into a cohesive plan. Understanding how these elements interact helps clients make informed decisions and maintain balance in their financial journey.

An aspect of my business that surprises many is my involvement in mortgage services. In addition to investments, I write mortgages in Florida, Michigan, and Colorado. Given that a home is often a family’s largest asset, reviewing the mortgage is crucial to ensure it’s the most cost-effective option.
